Communications Strategy (Media, PR + Ambassadors)

Sebby’s Corner are a charity who do a lot with a little.

But how could they ensure their supporters and stakeholders know about it?

The Challenge

Sebby’s Corner are a small baby bank charity tucked away in North London, but they’re nothing short of a lifeline to many parents and kids experiencing poverty. When we met, they’d started to get the positive press attention they deserve, but they didn’t have the resource or experience to make the most of it…

The Approach

Working with the founder-CEO, Bianca Sakol, and then the team as a whole, we created a strategy to:

  1. Optimise reactive PR opportunities for future fundraising and issue-based awareness

  2. Plan properly for proactive PR by engaging with the press in a strategic way

  3. Engage celebrities and influencers as ambassadors to raise the charity’s profile

We created a set of protocols in a flow chart style so at a glance, each staff member would know exactly how to make the most of a PR opportunity.

The Outcomes
